Find your niche partners, collaborators, and champions: As you’re creating your course, look for notable people who are also creating content in the space. Look att how their businesses operate and incorporate that into your own plan. You can also reach out to any influencers and make them affiliates for your own course. This way, they’ll be incentivized to share your content with their own audiences (which can be a major way to generate your first sales—it helps if you're using one of the best CRMs for small business—and start building your own community!)

Recognize that time is money. This critical piece of advice is attributed to Benjamin Franklin, who was an accomplished American inventor, journalist, printer, diplomat, and statesman--the ultimate multitasker. Your ability to manage your time (and stop procrastinating) is a critical ingredient in your ability to make money. Whether you have a job or are self-employed, keep track of what you're spending your time on. Ask yourself "Which of these activities make the most money, and which of them are a waste of time?" Noticeably absent from my list is “blogging”. I enjoy blogging and sharing with readers ways to save money, inspiring success stories and of course geek culture. However, blogging is not the path to quick money online. Despite what many bloggers and peddlers of courses may suggest, blogging is very hard work and it takes a sizable audience to make even a modest return.

I don't  hunk there's anything wrong with wanting to make lots of money. But once you have achieved that will you just keep doing the same thing tirelessly?  Or, would you like to enjoy the benefits of making a lot of money?  My point is this. Do something that will enrich you, not just richen you. Because, when you have completed this task what will be your legacy?  I believe; in the end most people want to accomplish something more than just making a lot of money. Though making a lot of money can be a byproduct of doing something that brings you and others happiness. When you die the last things you will have are your conscience and your memories. By that point the money won't matter anymore.
Once you’ve gathered a list, put together a template outreach email (as you’ll be doing this over and over) that’s short and clear with expectations. Tell your potential interviewee who you are, what your podcast is about, and what you’re asking of them. Do a few test interviews with friends and family to make sure everything is being recorded at the quality you want and then book your first episode.

I think you’re right. People resent you if you make more money than they do and I certainly think we hide it well. I don’t know though. I think it might be that rich people don’t need or want to flaunt their money. I know in my case, almost all the technicians at work have homes that are MUCH more expensive than ours. They max out how much they can borrow so they can show their peers they’ve “made it”.
